Services in honor of Mr. Larry McIntosh will be held on Saturday, April 24, at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall, a stage from which he conducted many a concerts. He will conduct his last performance from the grandest of podiums. Visitation will begin at 10:00am and continue to 1:00pm with service to follow. All donations to be made to the Larry McIntosh Music Scholarship Fund.

Kauai will miss Larry McIntosh

One of Kauai's living legends, Mr. Larry McIntosh, bid life aloha yesterday!
Kauai will surely miss this man who dedicated his life to teaching and sharing his music with everyone, especially the many Kauai High School and Kauai Community College band students. Mr. Mac inspired the students of Kauai to form a once in a lifetime All-Kauai band, comprised of students from every school on the island of Kauai. This band would go on to march in the 2005 Rose Bowl Parade! My sons, Cory and Kyle, were among those who were privileged to study under his lead.

Thank you Mr. Mac, you may be gone, but your legacy lives on!

Helping out the "ohana"

Dalton Brun was selected to the Baseball Factory National team, and will be heading over to Omaha, Nebraska to join many other outstanding, young, baseball players.

Makai Properties joins in to support this young man. I was also honored to give him and his family keys to their new home! Turning a house into a home! And taking care of our "ohana"! Now that makes a GREAT day!
