What an awesome event this is. My wife and I truly enjoyed the July movie night at Poipu Beach park....sitting under the stars amongst friends and visitors, probably about 200+ of us. The Koloa School faculty and staff sold snacks and goodies as a fundraising project. Or you can bring your own goodies, along with your beach mat or low seating beach chair. The best part was that this free event allowed families an evening together at little or no cost. I like that!

Koloa Plantation Days 2010

An annual Kauai festival, Koloa Plantation Days, celebrates it's 25th Anniversary Celebration, July 17 - July 25, 2010. If you are planning on being in the Poipu area during this time, be sure check this out! The event starts out on July 17, Saturday with the biggest block party, the Sunset Ho'olaule'a, from 4:00-9:00pm. The event is staged on Hoonani road in Poipu, fronting the Sheraton Kauai Resort. Road in front of Sheraton from Kapili Rd. to Hoonani Rd. will be closed for event. Designated parking will be available at the Kiahuna Golf Course and Poipu Beach Park with shuttles operating from 3 pm to 10 pm. Hope to see you there!!

Kauai Hospice 4th of July Concert

21^st Annual Concert in the Sky!
This annual Independence Day friendraiser for Kaua`i Hospice offers the largest aerial fireworks show on Kaua`i, family fun and games, and great food from top hotels and restaurants. Gates open at 4:00 pm with continuous live entertainment featuring John Cruz, Shilo Pa, The Quake, Halau Ka Lei Mokihana `O Leina`ala and more. Vidinha Soccer Field in Lihue.
