Golfing in one of four daily tee-times reserved for Kauai residents at Kukuiula.  Standing on the 18th green with Christian brother, Roger Medd, off camera were George Kanna and Todd Yamase who made up the foursome.

Golfing with Tom Weiskopf, designer of Kukui'ula Golf Course

Mr. Weiskopf  gets ready to tee off on the 6th hole at the newest golf course on the southshore of Kauai.  Kukui'ula Golf Course was designed by Weiskopf, winner of 16 PGA Tour titles and designer of award winning golf courses. 

I have been invited by my friend, Phil, to be his guest partner at Kukui'ula's inaugural member-guest golf championship. Today we will walk the course with Tom Weiskopf, who will share his insights and visions that created the prestigious Kukui'ula Golf Course.  Tomorrow, will be the 1st round of a Two Person Shamble. On Saturday, the tournament continues with a final round of Two Person Better Ball.

9/11 - 10 yrs later

Living on Kauai can sometimes provide a false sense of security. Never do we want to take for granted our freedom as an American citizen. May God continue to bless those who endured and walked through time to rebuild their lives after losing loved ones on September 11, 2001. May God bless the troops that trod on foreign soil for the sake of our freedom.
