The Grand Hyatt Regency Kauai in Poipu is the host to "Na Lima Hana 2011" , a Kauai Festival event sponsored by the County of  Kauai and the Hawaii Tourism Authority.   Click on link for more details about this event.  Most of the events are free of charge

Poipu Beach Estates update

As of today, October 21, 2011, Poipu Beach Estates has sold 28 lots ranging from
$225,000-$685,000. Twelve (12) additional lots remain active or under contract. Four (4) homes are currently under construction (click on photo for enlarged view).

Kauai Farmers Markets

Kauai is known as the Garden Island because of it's lush surroundings, but I think another reason it's called the Garden Island is because it is amply supplied with fruits, vegetables and tropical flowers, mostly generated from local gardens.   Be sure to support the local Kauai farmers at these various locations!
