The Disney Wonder
will anchor at Nawiliwili, Kauai on May 7, 2012. Disney Cruise Line’s inaugural sailing to
Hawaii left on April 29, 2012 from Los Angeles for it’s 14 day cruise to Hawaii. This Hawaii cruise will make stops at
Hilo (Big Island), Kahului (Maui), Honolulu (Oahu), Lihue (Kauai), then head
back to Ensenada, Mexico where the cruise ends.
Per the Disney Cruise website, “the Disney Wonder has 11
massive decks, a total length of 964 feet, a maximum width of 106 feet and a
gross tonnage of 83,000. It has the capacity to comfortably accommodate 2,700
passengers, along with 950 Cast and Crew Members to cater to the needs of
Guests on each and every voyage, from dawn until dusk.”
The next Disney Family cruise to Hawaii is scheduled for October 2012. Sounds like fun!
