Hurricane Daniel continues to weaken.  Hawaii News Now says....
Forecasters said moisture from DanielÊ»s remnants could reach the islands Friday, with the possibility of stronger easterly winds of 20 to 25 miles per hour. Most of the showers will impact the Big Island and Maui, but it's too soon to tell exactly what its effects will be.

Hurricane Emilia is tailing behind Daniel. Hawaii News Now says....
Hurricane Emilia is approximately 2,946 miles east of Hilo. It is moving toward the west-northwest at about 15 miles per hour. Maximum sustained winds are near 110 miles per hour with gusts reaching 130 mph.  Emilia is a Category two hurricane. It is expected to become a major hurricane (111-129 mph winds) later today.  Forecasters say Emilia is not a threat to land at this time.
