music with guest conductor Mr. Grant Okamura, retired Director of Bands at the
University of Hawaii at Manoa. The Kauai Youth Honor Band is made up of
the best young musicians from schools around the island. FREE with
donations accepted! KCC is the only community college in the University of
Hawaii System to have a full instrumental music program.

music by the KCC Symphony Orchestra. Repertoire includes Carl Maria von
Weber’s Symphony no. 1 in C Major, Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite, Barber’s Adagio for
Strings, and music from the hit movie “The Lord of the Rings.” FREE with
donations accepted! KCC is the only community college in the University
