Date & Time:  August 15, Friday  at 8pm
Cost:  FREE
Movie:  Despicable Me 2,  rated PG,  animation, comedy, family

What could be better than watching a movie under the stars on the beach on Kauai.   Bring your beach towels to sit on, or a low to the ground chair (so you don't block the view of the person behind you).  Food concession booths will be available  as a fundraiser for  Koloa Elementary School.

If you come early, the KUGA (Kauai Underground Arts) dancers will entertain you 15 minutes before the start of the show.

This event is sponsored by the Poipu Rotary Club in conjunction with many other
community sponsors.

Shipwreck Beach, Poipu - Aug 9, 2014

Although Hurricane Iselle did not pass through Kauai, the effects of it's storm pattern caused the sand at Shipwreck's beach (next to the Grand Hyatt Kauai) to disappear.....leaving a rockbed.
